Maraboon Rural Vet Services (MRVS) is a large animal vet service in Emerald QLD. As part of the wider Maraboon Animal Health, this new large animal hospital and equine breeding facility, with mobile veterinary capabilities, was established in 2023. With core Maraboon Animal Health values, MRVS is a family based vet specialising in Equine and Cattle Services.

We strive to provide all our clients and patients with the best veterinary care possible, to achieve optimal animal health outcomes for large animals. Whether your large animals are pets or part of a commercial business, we will work with you to provide modern and comprehensive on-farm and home care. 

MRVS provides routine medical and surgical services for horses and cattle, a full range of equine breeding capabilities as well as a 24/7 Ambulatory Service. Our brand new state-of-the-art hospital opened in 2024 and is fully equipped for breeding, agistment and emergency services. Our mobile vehicle and trailer is fully equipped with a portable horse crush, mobile x-ray, ultrasound and other in-house diagnostic testing equipment for complete on-site services.
