Cancellation & No-Show Policy

At MVSE, MVSB, and MRVS, we are committed to providing timely care for all patients. Missed appointments and late cancellations reduce availability for pets requiring medical attention and impact the efficiency of our veterinary teams.

To help us continue delivering quality care, we kindly ask clients to provide adequate notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointment Cancellation Requirements

Consultation Appointments (MVSE/MVSB)

If you are unable to attend your consultation appointment, please notify us by phone or email before 8:30am on the day of your appointment.

Surgery Appointments (MVSE/MVSB)

For all surgical procedures, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

MRVS Consultation & Surgery Appointments

For all Maraboon Rural Vet Services appointments, including consultations and surgeries, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required.

Cancellation & No-Show Fees

If insufficient notice is provided, or if you fail to attend your scheduled appointment, the following fees may apply:

• First offence: $100 Cancellation/No-Show Fee
• Second offence (or repeat occurrences): $150 Cancellation/No-Show Fee

Outstanding cancellation fees must be paid before any future appointments or services can be booked.

MRVS Travel Fees

For Maraboon Rural Vet Services appointments, additional travel charges may apply where travel has already been allocated for the booking.

Example:

• $100 Cancellation Fee + applicable travel charges

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for genuine or extenuating circumstances. Any decision to waive cancellation fees is at the discretion of the Practice Manager.
